Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your use of www.bagala.ai and the products offered by Bagala ("Bagala", "we", "us"), including Job Search, Job Prep and Library (together, the "Products"). By creating an account or using the Products you agree to these Terms. If you use the Products on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information, including an email address you control, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your password and any recovery codes confidential and for activity under your account. We recommend turning on two-step sign-in.
- Tell us promptly through Enquiries if you believe your account has been used without permission.
- Access to some Products depends on the role given to your account.
Using the Products
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Products for their intended purpose, subject to these Terms. You agree not to:
- break the law or infringe the rights of others, including intellectual property and privacy rights;
- attempt to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access, or test, probe or bypass security or rate limits;
- upload malicious code or content you do not have the right to use;
- use automated means to scrape, overload or disrupt the Products, except through access we have agreed in writing;
- resell or provide the Products to third parties without our written agreement.
Your content
You keep ownership of the content you add, such as profile details, resumes, practice answers and questions ("Your Content"). You give us permission to host, process and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Products for you. You are responsible for having the rights to Your Content.
AI-generated output
The Products use AI models to produce matches, feedback, answers and other output. Output can be incomplete or inaccurate and may not suit your circumstances. Review it before relying on it, especially for decisions about employment, finances or other significant matters. Output does not constitute professional, legal or career advice.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the Products available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces what you can do, we will try to give reasonable notice.
Enterprise services
Enterprise services, including the Model API, are provided only under a separate written agreement. Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement applies.
Intellectual property
The Products, including their software, design and branding, belong to Bagala or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you. If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.
Third-party services
The Products rely on third-party providers, such as email delivery and AI model providers, and may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for third-party websites you choose to visit.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Products are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, Bagala will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the Products. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Products at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or put the Products or other users at risk. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will continue.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, give notice on the site or by email. Continuing to use the Products after changes take effect means you accept them.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Bagala is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
